Este parque rinde homenaje a Amalio Fern\u00e1ndez Garc\u00eda, destacado escen\u00f3grafo y artista nacido en la localidad el 29 de agosto de 1860, en la Casa Cuartel de la Guardia Civil. Su legado art\u00edstico trascendi\u00f3, y fue reconocido como hijo ilustre del municipio.<\/p>\n<p>En 1928, el Ayuntamiento de La Gineta decidi\u00f3 honrar su memoria otorgando su nombre a este emblem\u00e1tico lugar, que desde entonces se ha convertido en un punto de encuentro para vecinos y visitantes.
